I'll say it here first - better than Erebus in Pontiac.... I went on a Saturday, usually go on a Sunday ( I was a tad worried from the comments about the long lines but we only waited maybe 30 minutes..) so much fun! Definitely recommend!

This place is definitely the spot you want to go if you want to experience an amazing, scary, Halloween experience! This place is well ran and it was so hard to tell the difference between the decorations and the actors! There is something for everyone! Even though we didn't have to, it was awesome to know if you want out of any of the places, the actors will help you to leave. Only thing I would improve is the entrance sign by the road, at night it is very hard to see where you turn.

Having been to well over 30 haunts - including 10+ in Michigan, this place needs to get more attention!! It was so much better than many of the haunts you see on yearly lists. We will definitely be making the 2 1/2 trip each year to come back.

Screams in the Dark is located at 5548 M-66, Kalkaska, MI 49646.

When entering the parking lot, please follow the signs. Driveway is directly across from Blue Heron Dr.

Please double-check your directions if you're using GPS; make sure it shows "Blue Heron Dr." across from our location (some GPS software have shown our location incorrectly).

Admission

You will need to pre-purchase your tickets online for Friday & Saturday Nights, and choose a 30-minute time slot. Sunday Nights, and N0-Scare Nights are walk up ticketing, no online sales. Please remember - Time Slots are NOT A GUARANTEED entry time. We do our best to get you in within your time slot, but some nights unforeseen events can cause delays.

Once a time slot has sold out - it’s SOLD OUT and no more tickets will be sold for that night - NO EXCEPTIONS.

You will need to arrive at least 15 minutes before your time slot.

If you arrive without a pre-purchased ticket on Fridays/Saturdays:

WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOU A TICKET
YOU WILL WAIT UNTIL THERE IS ROOM FOR YOU (Could be 30 minutes - Could be several hours)

REFUNDS – THERE ARE NONE.

Tickets are non-refundable for any reason other than a full shut down due to severe weather, decision is made by management.
If you are unable to use your ticket on the night you reserved, you will be allowed to use the ticket on the Sunday of that weekend - if unused you will forfeit your ticket.
You will have the option when buying your ticket online to add "Refund Protection", we receive no revenue from this - it simply protects your ticket if for any reason you are unable to use the ticket.
